I kinda do, though.
Ranked matchmaking just feels vastly superior to the actual travesty of Normals where I've witnessed, far too many times, that a Iron-Bronze player is matched against diamond+ lane opponents, and throwing a strong top laner into their team is somehow supposed to balance it out.
At very least, Ranked solo removes the chance of premades, especially ones of wildly different ranks, so games at least feel more even for now.
Moreover, this gives me more excuses to play Thresh Top and Gwen Jungle, my true mains and tryhard picks. That's right, my Thresh Top is probably better than whatever meta champs I could play top simply due to experience leading to better decision making throughout an entire game.
