RAF East Kirkby and the USAF 1954 - 1958.

The distinguished wartime history of RAF East Kirkby is well documented.

This video focuses on perhaps the lesser known role the airfield played in the early stages of the 'Cold War' with the presence of the United States Air Force and in particular, Strategic Air Command (SAC).
