How To Make Cosmopolitan

Hi. I’m Damian over at Liquid Kitty in West LA California and i’m gonna show you how to make a Cosmopolitan today.

Cosmopolitan is been around there’s early consummate as early and nineteen thirties it was supposedly develop in the seventies down in West Village, I’ve heard a different million stories I can’t really say which ones the accurate one but there’s story was develop in a West Village in Manhattan, there’s different story it was built in LA other's story say at San Francisco but it really gained popularity when sex in the city came on T.V and lead actress on the show, the played Carrie Bradshaw her character was drinking Cosmopolitan so when it was originally came out it was made Absolut Citron, Absolut kinda push make it they’re drink and that’s kinda what happened that it was made a Citron based vodka over the course of the year's most part was gone, using regular vodka, cheaper for greater cost for them so when you go into a bar do wanna order Cosmopolitan ask for Absolut Citron you gonna get a little bit more of a lemon flavor to it, you might not notice it, you might notice it depends how strong your palate is, If you don’t care just go for the regular vodka it doesn’t matter. Here at Liquid Kitty we use a regular vodka for today i’ll make with a Absolut Citron, you fill your shaker glass with ice, The ingredients are:
-Absolut Citron
-Triple Sec
-Lime Juice
-Cranberry
We do, we do course here we use kinda two hands with two bottles per hand, so it’s gonna be. Comes out one party chose lime juice and triple sec and two parts of absolut citron and then cranberries is just for color and we’re gonna shake the whole thing together. So we get that nice pink color, we keep our Martini glasses in the fridge keep them cold, any drink that’ serve without ice we try to keep them, we try to serve them , we try to chill the glass so that it keeps the temperature cold for a little bit longer, this get garnish with a lime and then we strain our cocktail into our martini glass.
