Flammable Cladding on Buildings

Описание к видео Flammable Cladding on Buildings

Three years after London's deadly Grenfell Tower fire, the world continues to experience large-scale façade fires. In this episode of Learn Something New™ by NFPA Journal®, NFPA® explores the façade fire problem—why so many buildings around the world have been built with it, and how challenging it is now to remove it.

Unfortunately, it is unknown exactly how many of these systems are in use. It is difficult and costly to remove, and each country is setting different policies on removing the cladding on buildings. The reality is that the highly flammable cladding has been determined too late—so it is likely that these incidents will continue as a fire problem worldwide until the materials have been eradicated from the market.
