tmad ud Daulah Tomb is located on the banks of the Yamuna River in Agra. Itmad ud Daulah ka Maqbara is a mausoleum, which is also known as "Mini Taj of India" or "Baby Taj". Itmad ud Daulah Agra is the first tomb in India to be constructed entirely of marble.

Mizra Ghiyas was given the name Itmad-ud-Daulah, which means "Pillar of the Kingdom," as a title of honor from the emperors. Itmad-ud-Daula had served under Emperor Akbar. He also served under Emperor Jahangir, who married Daula's daughter. When Mirza Ghiyas Beg died in 1622, a few months after the death of his wife Asmar Begum, then his daughter Nur Jahan built this marble mausoleum for her parents.

The tomb is made of white marble and is placed on a large red sandstone platform. The dome displays Persian architecture. Pietra dura and semi-precious stones has been used for decoration. The surface and interior of the structure feature inlaid stone works as well as motifs of vegetation and trees. The tomb has four minarets with small domed chhatris on top.

The western gate has a pavilion on the bank of the river. The southern and northern gates are built to maintain symmetry.
