ROTUNDUM rotary positioning chair is designed for diagnosing and treating balance disorders, such as Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). It's the first and only mobile device on the market.

Due to the 2-axis (roll and yaw) all re-positioning maneuvers can be performed to relocate the dislodged calcium crystals (otoconia or otoliths) in the inner ear of the patient. ROTUNDUM can be used in combination with suitable systems for the diagnostic and therapeutic treatment, like VNG-Systems.

Four freely rotatable wheels at the bottom of the chair.
The wheels are lockable/un-lockable by pedals.

Operation:
The roll and yaw axes can be positioned at any degree by mechanical means and by the therapist’s minimal force. The roll and yaw are labeled with degree marks.
The position of the patient can be adjusted to superimpose his center of mass with the one of the positioning chair. This way the operator needs little force to work with the positioning chair.
