Walter Jon Williams is the legendary author of dozens of works of fiction, and has shown a talent for nimbly shifting between genres. His stories have had a major impact not just with his fans, but with our culture, and he is regarded by many as one of the founding fathers of the cyberpunk genre. He's made it to the best sellers list of the New York Times, has been nominated for the Hugo, Nebula and Philip K. Dick Awards more times than you can count, and won a few of them several times.

His works include the Hardwired series, the Drake Maijstral series, the Metropolitan series, the Dread Empire's Fall series, and the Quillifer series... and don't forget his contributions to the Wild Cards series (edited by George RR Martin) and all of his works of short fiction.

But, hold on, that's not all... Walter also regularly roleplayed in tabletop RPGs with George R.R. Martin, Melinda Snodgrass, James S.A. Corey (both halves of him), Roger Zelazny, and others -- and has promised to tell us where all the NPC bodies are buried!
