Not sure what the hell happened before, but the sound should be working fine now...

Anyways, in short: we recruit Opera, get her a new weapon, do a PA with said weapon before making it into a new weapon, complete her portion of the Mountain Palace, make Text Software via Machinery, and proceed to write both of each character's books via Publishing so we can turn them in to the publisher in Cross and buy more (which we'll no longer be able to do very soon).

To be able to recruit Battle Suits...err...I mean, Ernest later, we need to see the scene with Opera's ship in the Shingo Forest (no, you don't need to do a PA in Arlia), as well as the scene in the Mountain Palace in the room where Ernest was staying.

If you have Precis in your party, you'll get a Seventh Ray for Opera during the scene in the Shingo Forest, which is not too difficult to turn into an Alpha or Beta Box when combined with a Rainbow Diamond. You can even go one step further as I do here and combine that with another Rainbow Diamond until you get a slightly-better Gamma Box.

If you don't have Precis, you can steal a Light Box from Opera in Lacour (she's in the laboratory in the castle's basement), which can be combined with a Rainbow Diamond for a Seventh Ray (a "proper" combination).

You can get 3 Rainbow Diamonds on disc 1 (not including Trickster and Survival):
Reward from PA involving old woman on the west side of Lacour
Chest in Sanctuary of Linga
Pickpocket from the newly-wed wife in Arlia (difficult steal)
