Описание к видео New York METS at Montreal EXPOS 4/20/91 Original CBS Broadcast

Recorded and Digitalized off a original recorded VHS tape which was converted through a DVD burner (cir.2002) and now restored and making its debut on my Phenia Films MLB archival page.
Original CBS Broadcast with Jim Kaat and Dick Stockton from Olympic Stadium with the starting pitchers Frank Viola for New York and Chris Nabholz for Montreal and making his MLB debut Expos Right Fielder Nikco Riesgo and getting his first and only MLB hit in his career off Viola.
A scoreless game until the Mets 6th as good hitting pitcher Frank Viola leads off the inning with a solid double over left fielder Ivan Calderon followed by a double from Tom Herr as the Mets take the lead. Expos tie the game in the 7th with an RBI single from Spike Owen. Frank Viola pitches a solid game despite the nine Expos hits. Mets take the lead in the 8th as Gregg Jefferies hits a double down the left field line knocking in two. John Franco comes in the ninth to close the door on Montreal earning his 3rd save of the 1991 season as Frank Viola picks up his second win of the season (2-0) while Chris Nabholz gets the loss for Montreal (0-2) at the first couple weeks into the 1991 season.
Occasional Video break up (black) as the DVD transfer couldn't read fragile VHS tape (only a few seconds video loss here and there)
