Crochet Spark Granny Square Pattern:
Set-up Rnd: With first color, ch 4, sl st into 4th ch from hook to join into ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 2 (counts as first leg of 2DCcl), YO insert hook in ring, YO, pull up lp, [YO and pull through 2 lps] twice (first 2DCcl made), [ch 2, 2DCcl] 7 times in ring, ch 2, sl st in top of first 2DCcl to join, fasten off. | 8 2DCcl, 8 ch-2 sps.
Rnd 2: With sl knot of 2nd color on hook, sl st in any ch-2 sp, ch 1, SC in same sp, [ch 3, SC in next ch-2 sp] 7 times, ch 3, sl st in top of first SC to join, fasten off. | 8 SC, 8 ch-3 sps.
Rnd 3: With sl knot of 3rd color on hook, sl st in any ch-3 sp, ch 1, SC in same sp, *[DC, ch 1, (tr, ch 1) 4 times, DC] in next ch-3 sp**, SC in next ch-3 sp; rep from * 3 more times ending last rep at **, sl st in top of first SC to join, fasten off. | 4 SC, 8 DC, 16 tr, 20 ch-1 sps.
Rnd 4: With sl knot of 4th color on hook, sl st in any SC, ch 2, *DC in next DC, HDC in next ch-1 sp, SC in next tr, HDC in next ch-1 sp, DC in next tr, (DC, ch 1, DC) in next ch-1 sp, DC in next tr, HDC in next ch-1 sp, SC in next tr, HDC in next ch-1 sp, DC in next DC**, DC in next SC; rep from * 3 more times ending last rep at **, sl st in top of beg ch to join, fasten off. | 28 DC, 16 HDC,
