this took a fairly long time to record, not looking forward to the next games which presumably get harder.

sorry to anyone who thought this was like a video essay or something more interesting than a playthrough. I feel like this comes off as click bait because the title of the video is so empty, and the thumbnail leaves alot up to speculation, speaking of thumbnail...

thumbnail talk, so this one was a bit odd, because im trying to make a thumbnail that can be reproduced for the next games. Not copied, but like where its similar, like in a series when all the videos thumbnails maintain a theme or something to make them feel connected. So i had that in mind, which resulted in me picking something simple, just the static background and Freddy in the front. The static background is from like a reddit post of someone talking about old TV static, and the freddy photo is actually cut out by me using the lasso tool so i could make the purple and slight green lock to that layer and not the black background that came with it. Composure of assets aside, the actual editing part was really just adding a slight purple shadow, and a lil bit of green, because then it feels more specific to this channel, and I threw in a drop shadow behind freddy to make him stand out from the background, also theres some low opacity copies of the freddy cutout behind him that're red and blue to make a sorta "glitch" effect. I felt that these editing choices would make it stand out from the background more as its very noisy. theres also a minor fish eye effect on the image but whatever. 8/10. I like this one.

this is a bit of a longer description so my baddd. I do wanna briefly mention that i had a few small differences in like thumbnails I considered using like a sort of "oil paint" filter which made the image feel a little less sharp, but overall still nice. There was a few options here but i chose the most vanilla thumbnail as I dont wanna disasociate it too much from the games art style.
