Author Douglas Murray has hit out at the ABC’s Media Watch program for “attacking” Elon Musk and accusing the billionaire of spreading misinformation.

Mr Murray accused the ABC of going after Mr Musk solely because the X owner is beating them in the ratings.

“X/Twitter under his ownership has become so much more respected and used as a news source than ABC and others that of course, they're concerned,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
