HiFi VHS vs Cassette Tape - Which Sounds Better?

I've been wanting to do this video comparison for a while, as I have heard lots of interesting talk about the pros and cons of using Hifi VHS as a mixdown media. I had to go and buy a VCR unit first, as I haven't owned one in years though! All the audio from the Tascam 244 was recorded from the headphone outs in two passes, and I've looped the same section of the song 3 times to make it easier to compare the sources (Hifi VHS, type 4 Cassette tape, and a digital mix to Logic). Please let me know what differences you can hear and if you have favourite mixdown media is in this shootout.
