EDIT: Read through for other comments that may help you but if nothing else READ THIS:

You have to push HARD to get the key solidly in the socket. This was my problem all along. For the heck of it a few weeks ago I pushed the key in a bit harder and it felt like it popped but the mower started up fine afterwards and I no longer had any issues with the key jiggling. Good luck!

We have a Ryobi mower (Ryobi 40v brushless 20" model number RY401011 107204101) that was shutting off "randomly". Well, it wasn't randomly, it was whenever you picked the front end up too much.

After a lot of research into safety switches, it seems that this particular model has moved one switch into the base of the handle and somehow tied it to a level. There is no red button on the side of base of the handle attachment by the wheel like you may see in other videos. The mower will stay on until the body is too far off-level.

The fix, since my audio is garbage, is to position the handle 'up', that is, to take as much slack out of it as possible, then tighten the three T27 screws that hold it in place on each side by the back wheels. As you can see in the video, that fixed the issue, or at least the issue that we had.

Good luck!
