From my Biracial Coptic Upper Egyptian/American POV, we use both Historical and cultural evidence to discuss Afrocentrism, exploring the works of Cheikh Anta Diop, and the racial representation in the recent Jada Pinkett Smith Cleopatra movie. We delve into the racial identity of the ancient/current Egyptians, examining evidence from ancient population reports and the Ptolemaic Greek population based on census reports and tax information.
