New RMGT Press

New Jersey’s leading Luxury print and packaging company Century Packaging in East Brunswick gets its first RMGT 1020 LX 8 C-DU-C-LD UV press. The Eight Color 40” format RMGT 10 Series with two coating units, UV dryer, and extended delivery will be RMM’s biggest sheetfed press installation in the NJ / NY area and reflects the strength of Century’s position within the buoyant Luxury, food packaging and display sector. One of the performance innovations that helped sway the decision to the RMGT 10 series was RMGT’s unique drying system of IR / Hot air / LED UV & Conventional UV which was specifically engineered to dry high gloss coatings to a superior quality while reducing power consumption by as much as 55% at high production speeds of 17,100 SPH. The double coating configuration was specified with the Luxury, Food, Pharma, and Display sectors in mind. Consistency and accuracy are very important in the packaging sector, Century chose Lithec the tried and tested Inline color module, it measures ink densities and makes any subsequent adjustment recommendations for the individual inking units. The inline detection system features a camera capable of scanning each sheet of resolution and matching it for content and print quality against a master sheet. The system can also identify any minute color changes and automatically adjusts the press in a closed-loop sequence, without the need for operator intervention. RM Machinery the Master Distributor for RMGT 10 series in USA has delivered various configurations of Packaging presses to US-based customers in 2023 raging from an RMGT 1060 TP LX 1/7 to an RMGT 1020 Eight color with Double Coaters and RMGT 1060 Eight Color Single coater press with LED and Conventional UV systems.
