Scenic Motorcycle ride through Yellowstone National Park

Описание к видео Scenic Motorcycle ride through Yellowstone National Park

Join us on an extended motorcycle ride through Yellowstone National Park.
We tend not to stop at crowed tourist areas. Our goal is the ride and the scenery.
Hop on for the ride.

The ride will take 9-10 hours with minimal stops, plan accordingly for fuel.
Leaving Red Lodge Mt and travelling south to Cody Wyoming we took Hwy 14 West Bound past Buffalo Bill Reservoir and into the East entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
The north fork of Shoshone river winds through amazing rock formations and mountain views before you come to the entrance of Yellowstone Park.
Sylvan pass is a stunning mountain road that unfortunately turns to burnt timber due to the forest fires (2001 or 2007?) As you continue you will see Yellowstone lake peeking over the horizon.
Winding around part of the lake we take a right going towards Canyon Village. The valley opens up to show us Hayden Valley, full of wildlife and beauty.
Dunraven pass is closed for construction so we headed west on the Norris Canyon Road cut across then traveled north on Grand Loop Road/ Hwy 89.
After arriving at Mammoth and trying to weave our way through traffic we were finally heading south east on Grand Loop Road towards the Lamar Valley. I have always thought this valley is the most beautiful in the park.
We encountered a Buffalo jam as we headed east, we had to pick up the pace a bit to make it past Cooke City around 6pm. The construction on Beartooth pass near Beartooth lake closes to traffic every evening at 7pm. But we made it in time.
At this time the construction does not have an end date so plan accordingly.

Thank you for watching
