Olympus recently introduced quite tempting super wide angle zoom lens in micro 4/3 form factor, M.Zuiko 7-14mm F2.8 PRO, on top of main stream 9-18mm F4-5.6. This is war declare against popular Panasonic 7-14mm F4, but Olympus is 1 stop blighter. What performance they show in 4K movie.

Apparently, Olympus has bigger bokeh with iris open, and it is good one with smooth and soft gradation. Also, its wide end is bit wider than Panasonic and tele end is bit longer than Panasonic.

Meanwhile, Panasonic is more tolerant to lens flare which is obvious in this short comparison. Panasonic is cheaper and much lighter too.

Choice is yours.
