Masala Chaas Recipe 2 methods | Masala Taak | Spiced Buttermilk | Cooking with Smita

Masala Chaas is one of the most popular Indian Summer Drink – also known as Masala Taak or Spiced Buttermilk. Here, I am sharing 2 different methods to make Chaas Masala – Frozen & Dry. First, we will prepare Chaas Masala, and you can store it for an extended period. Frozen Chaas Masala can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. Dry (powdered) Chaas Masala can be stored in air-tight container for up to 6 months.

Frozen Chaas Masala Ingredients
½ cup Fresh Coriander
½ cup Fresh Mint Leaves
10 – 12 Curry Leaves
½ inch Ginger
1 Green Chilli (seeds removed)
1 tsp. Lemon Juice
½ cup Water

Dry Chaas Masala Ingredients
1/4th cup Dried Coriander
1/4th cup Dried Mint Leaves
12 – 15 Dried Curry Leaves
½ inch Dried Ginger
1 Dried Green Chilli (seeds removed)
1/4th cup Chaas Masala
