An Ancient Ocean Left Behind Crystals and Botryoidal Agate Inside Fossil Coral! River Rockhounding!

It always feels great to get back to my old stomping grounds! I grew up near this river where you can find absolutely beautiful agatized coral geodes. I have always been amazed that these are literally a fossil and a gem/mineral all in one! I can't help but imagine this area being a shallow coral reef 25 million years ago bustling with life.
