- Recently I installed a kayak seat riser on my Crescent Crew and had time to take it out and test it. In this video I'll be going over how to install a kayak seat riser as well as provide some thoughts and first impressions for taking it out on the water. Overall, I was really happy with the seat riser and I plan to keep it on kayak. I hope this is helpful for anyone on the fence about buying one or if you have any hesitation due to fear of instability.
