Patch tool

Fix blemishes easily in your photos and quickly copy objects with Photoshop's patch tool.
We can find this tool on the left side toolbar below the eyedropper tool HERE. Of the 5 options we can see, let's select the third one.

Fixing Blemishes

Let’s start fixing this photo with the patch tool. Locate the area you want to fix, and while holding a click select or start drawing as you can see.
Once you finish click again and drag the drawing to an area with the appearance you like. When you release your click the area you like will be used to patch or replace what you dragged away. Repeat this process until you are happy with the results and that’s it.

Coping Objects

Now let's see how to copy objects using this image. First, be sure you have the patch feature in the normal setting. Now let’s click and select the area we want to copy. Once you finish you will see that in the top menu the Source setting has been selected. Now let's click on the Destination setting and drag your selection to the area where you want to paste the object as you can see now. Not complicated right?

When you want to change your selections use these features:

To increase the size of your selection, click on this second icon HERE or hit the shift key on your keyboard.

Increasing Size of Your Selection

As you can see a plus icon now indicates that you can start increasing the size of your selection. Now click and start making your selection.

Decreasing Size of Your Selection

To decrease the size of your selection, click on the third icon HERE or on your keyboard hit Alt in windows or option in Mac. Now the minus icon indicates that you can start decreasing the size of your selection. Click and start your selection and that's it.

Making An Intersection

To make an intersection, click on the fourth icon HERE or the shortcut alt + shift in Windows or option + shift in Mac. Now select the area where you want to make the intersection. As simple as that.

Content-Aware Setting

Finally, if you want to make your work without affecting the current image, select the Content-Aware setting HERE. Now create a new layer and start making your selections. As you can see all the changes now are in the new layer without affecting the original image.

As you can see, Photoshop tools are not too difficult to use and if you practice a few minutes every day you will become an expert.
