Hello Guys,

Welcome to "Perpetual's Kitchen".

Making a sardine fish fry is a delicious way to enjoy these nutrient-packed fish. Here's a simple and flavorful recipe for you to try:-

☛FOR MASALA PASTE:-
Take 1 tsp of kashmiri red chilli powder in a plate.
Add ¼ tsp of turmeric powder.
½ tsp Cumin powder.
1 tsp coriander powder.
1 tsp ginger garlic paste.
1 tbsp gram flour.
½ tsp Salt.
1 Lemon juice.
1 tbsp oil.
Mix it well.
Add 1 tbsp of water & mix well.
Our Masala paste is ready.

☛FOR COATING:-
Take ½ bowl of semolina in a plate.
Add 2 tbsp of rice flour.
½ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder.
¼ tsp turmeric powder.
½ tsp salt.
Mix it well.
Our coating is ready.

⬗Method:-
Take a sardine fish & use the blunt edge of a knife & scrape off the scales going from the tail to the head.
Cut off the head & take out the guts.
Cut off the fins & tail.
Slit it from the sides.
Apply the masala paste & fill the cuts.
Set aside for 30 minutes to marinate.
Now turn on the gas stove, heat 4 tbsp of oil in a frying pan.
As soon as the oil becomes hot, coat the fish with the semolina mixture evenly on both sides and gently place the fish on the hot oil.
Fry it on medium flame for 5 minutes.
Flip & fry for another 3 minutes on medium flame.
Once fried, remove the sardines from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
