He Kept Being Horrible - November 25, 2024

My name is Tonya Meisenbach.

I was set on fire by my husband on December 18, 2018.

I am a survivor.

I’ve been a beauty and lifestyle content creator for the past three years. It helps me be calm and regain my confidence.

At first, I believed his lies that it was an accident. I was in a coma for two months and was in a habit of suppressing all the bad things he used to do to me emotionally.

I remembered everything last year while in therapy and spent the past year working to get out of the house so that I could speak my truth and find safety. It was very dangerous because he knew that I had remembered the truth.

This is just me standing in the kitchen, thinking about the past 20 years.

I enjoy vlogging about it daily. I want to be sure to leave a record of what happened.
