Ayutthaya is the most beautiful Thailand's old capital, known as the kingdom of Siam, is a magical city that once flourished from 14th to 18th century. It is an island surrounded by three rivers. Once it was a world deplomatic center and commercial hub in Thailand. It was destroyed by Burmese Army in 1700 and entire area burnt to ashes and is in modern time, significantly a popular tourist attraction which is listed in a world heritage site.
I started my journey from Bang Sue central Railway station, Bangkok , travelled in general class which is comfortable enough for 90 minutes train journey and i paid only 14 Baht for that.
Ayutthaya is easily accessible with the visitors being able to travel from Bangkok by car , train, boat or bus. Once there, the easiest way to get between various attractions of the site, is by hiring a bike (60 baht). You can travel by tuktuk as well which will cost 500 to 600 Baht.
