The ‘Urban Management of Internal Migration due to Climate Change/Urban Management of Migration and Livelihoods’ (UMIMICC/UMML), co-financed by the EU and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), is supporting the Ministry of Social Welfare (MoSW) of Bangladesh in contributing to sustained pathways out of poverty in vulnerable slum areas of Bangladesh through various livelihood diversification and poverty reduction activities.

A major objective of these activities is the improvement of individual income and employment opportunities through an integrated approach to employment promotion.
