C/U baby's bottom, he is being held by a nurse who moves away from camera and puts the baby into its bath. C/U baby splashing in the bath, it reaches up to the tap and pulls itself up. M/S nurse drying baby. Various shots as doctor examine baby with stethoscope. M/S sun ray lamp, pan down to baby lying on cot wearing protective glasses. C/U pan up baby lying on scales looking into camera. M/S cook washing babies' bottles at the sink, she walks forward, pan down to her stirring something in a saucepan, she takes bottle from another pan and walks out of picture. M/S nurse's hand taking bottle from shelf. C/U nurse, pan down to her feeding the baby. C/U feeding. C/U baby lying in the cot, the lights go out.

M/S trolleys going along. M/S baby laying on tray in cot, it is rocking the baby to sleep. The baby is then lifted out of the cot onto the tray and goes out of the picture. M/S trolleys going down the corridors on their own carrying babies. C/U baby lying on scales, tray folds up and comes apart underneath the baby leaving it on the scales. C/U nurse. M/S baby laying on tray being let down onto cot, the tray folds up and leaves the baby in the cot. M/S another baby being let down into cot. C/U nurse operating big switches. C/U bottle full of milk, it is let down into the cot, the baby catches it between his feet and pulls it up to his hands. C/U baby drinking milk as pillow comes up to support it.
