The Kurosun Samurai features a mesh fabric on the surface. Because of the way it's patterned, you will feel a noticeable difference between your vertical and horizontal movement on this pad.

This is a pad that you must only judge after you have spent a week or two of continuous use and only then will it start to feel more like a balanced pad.

The Kurosun handles humidity like a dream and if skin sticking drives you nuts, this pad might just be your saving grace.
