16TB FlashDrive - Real or Fake?

@WaybackRewind Selling for $8, can these be real? Probably not since 16TB flash drives don't exist at any price. If they did exist, they would come to market at a much higher price than $8. So I go through the process to discover what this really is. Turns out ... Spoiler alert... Yes, it's fake. And an insidious one that doesn't show its true colors even under close examination. It allows you to keep saving files while, meanwhile, corrupting them. It's a shame they prey on people's greed to try and get an unbelievable bargain.

All 16TB Flash Drives on the market now are fake. The memory controller in the flash drive has been reprogrammed to tell any device it's attached to that it's got 16TB of space. It doesn't. In many cases, it's less than 60GB. Once you write more than its capacity, it just writes over top again.

Any data written to these drives is under risk. Don't trust them with anything.
