"A Day without laughter is the day wasted", said the pioneer of screen comedy, Charles Chaplin. Chaplin was the propagator of Silent or Musical comedy. Jim Carrey and Robin Williams gave rise to the Physical Comedy. Matthew Perry adapted Sarcasm or insult comedy to amuse the audience for 10 years through famous Sitcom "Friends". As time passed through the ages, the genre and intensity of comedy changed, too.

Humans have advanced in the centuries. We have changed our lifestyle, mindset, methods, survival techniques, etc. Whilst this process, the mode of entertainment(or light entertainment) have changed too. Comedy has been the entertainment prerequisite, since long ages. Man is unable to survive in the absence of laughter. Hence the comedy has transformed its face from Shaksperian to Chaplin to the present in order to get in acquaintance with the modern generation.
