The A’s presented drafts of the non-relocation and development agreements to the Las Vegas Stadium Authority, and well, nothing changed apart from the introduction of bureaucracy. Those hailing this as a watershed moment for the team’s move to Las Vegas were left with an egg on their face. On the scale of disappointing reveals, it was somewhere between Maggie Shooting Mr. Burns and Hornswoggle being Mr. McMahon's son.

Both of those were bad. Yet, they also made far more sense than the A’s stadium plans for Las Vegas which still have no funding locked in apart from the $380 million promised via SB1. That happened 13 months ago. And over the course, John Fisher and his band of incompetent cronies have managed to accomplish almost nothing.

Oakland A’s officials could not tell the Las Vegas Stadium Authority how they would be paying for the rest of the stadium. They couldn’t even provide anything other than, “We’re good for it”. Don’t tell that to the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Mick Akers, who must have thrown his copy in a Graviton carnival ride before publishing; that is how much spin is in this.

One statement that has gained a lot of traction from proceedings is that the A’s “plan” to spend $350 million of the $380 million in public funds available. Plan, of course, is a relative term because the team doesn’t actually have a plan to fund the stadium, which means they can say whatever they want right now.

Better yet, how many plans have they just flat-out reneged on over the past few years? I’ve lost count. The Oakland A's relocation to Las Vegas remains a mess.
