S1E23: Hello Cambodia! Khmer Rouge and pepper.

🌏 New country alert! 🇰🇭 We are leaving Vietnam after two incredible months and entering Cambodia! In this episode, we explore Phnom Penh, the capital city. We visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields, both poignant reminders of the Khmer Rouge regime's dark history. Following this, we hop on a train to Kompot in southern Cambodia, where we face a scorching heatwave with temperatures soaring over 50 degrees Celsius. We explore Kompot and Kep, enjoying a serene kayak trip to catch a beautiful sunset, visiting La Plantation Pepper Farm to learn about the world's most popular pepper, and driving to see salt fields. In Kep, we savor a delicious crab dish. Throughout our travels, we make a furry friend at the guesthouse, a cat who loves spending time with us. We conclude this episode with a sleeper bus ride to Siem Reap. 🌞🚌
