A quiet, drizzly morning seemed like a good opportunity to play this sad song from the great Appalachian folk singer Ola Belle Reed (August 18, 1916 - August 16, 2002). This slower arrangement uses some similar banjo licks to Riley Baugus' version of the song, which I greatly admire.

The video quality wasn't stunning and I did have to swat a mosquito or two, but I feel like this video carried the heaviness for which I was going. Fun switch up from the last few upbeat videos. :)

Recorded with my (new to me) Gold Tone WL-250 tuned to fDGCD.
