Revolutionary And Latest Hair Extension Technique Of 2024!

I’m so excited to share this new hair extension method, CombLine. Great method for thin short hair. Fantastic method to use in places that old method won’t work.

This innovative technique is one that I keep finding myself returning to. The one of a kind system can be used with any brand of hair extension (I opt for Bellami). It is designed to be applied to areas that need ‘filling’, such as the hairline, crown, nape; usually where other methods would be visible. It is lightweight and designed to naturally shed from the hair, the reason being that these finer areas shouldn’t have pro-longed extension wear. Fills are done every 4 weeks, and a full re set every 6 months.

From my experience I’ll have clients that have retention of the combline strands anywhere between 4-8 weeks. Prepping the hair prior to install is key, and at home care can really help extend the lifespan. Oils are the main culprit in causing bonds to shed prematurely, so I always advise clients to avoid any oil based product at the point of attachment.

My client has worn both the combline and the v-light method, and for her the combline tends to have a better lifespan. I noticed she lost a lot of the v-light on one side, but had full retention on the other. Rather than with the combline she had even shedding all over.

I’m still experimenting with the two techniques in comparison to one another and also switching up my technique. I think it’s important as an extension artist to continue to learn new methods and figure out what works best for not only me but my clients!
