Florida High is back in the championship game for the first time since 1998, and can capture their first state title since 1963 with a win. Dual-sport standout Tre Donaldson, who has signed with Auburn where he will play football and basketball, leads the way for the Seminoles. The team has star power on the sidelines too, in head coach Charlie Ward, the 1993 Heisman Trophy winner.

Riviera Prep is a first-time state finalist, in the midst of the best season in program history. After having their entire 2020-21 season canceled due to Covid-19 concerns, 2,000-point scorer Esteban Lluberes and the Bulldogs can prove they belong on the big stage.
