陶藝基礎創作指導
陶藝涉及大量應用技巧、知識、步驟，對許多初學者而言，除了重複練習及實驗外，觀摩亦是一種必要的學習途徑。本計劃以造型及彩繪裝飾兩項源流中梳理出陶藝製作中的主要技巧，並由藝術家負責示範和拍攝成多條陶藝「創作指導示範」影片。藝術家嘗試作出深入淺出的技巧示範，並配以文字補充。

Ceramics practice involves numerous techniques, knowledge and procedures. Apart from practising and experimenting, observation is another essential way of learning for beginners. Consequently, The Workshop Guide to Ceramics will provide demonstration videos for illustrating the forming techniques and surface decoration, which will elucidate the comprehensive skills for making ceramics.

1: 於川龍村挖掘出的泥土。
2:用酒瓶或木棍來壓碎泥土。
3:用篩隔掉大石。
4. 倒水覆蓋泥土, 並靜置一段時間。
5. 比較重身的物料，包括粘土，已沉到底部。
6. 倒掉混合物的上半部分。
7. 攪拌混合物。
8. 加入少許水玻璃。
9. 將混合物過篩。
10. 將泥漿倒在石膏板上吸收水份。
11. 當粘土乾燥，用膠刮把它從石膏板上取出。
12. 對摺它並注意水分控制。
13. 或加入球粘土調節柔韌度 。

1. The raw clay dug at Chuen Lung Village.
2. Use wine bottle or rolling pin to breaking down the clay.
3. Use sieve to discard stones.
4. Pour water in until covered. Leave to stand for a while.
5. The heavier materials, including the clay, settle to the bottom.
6. Pour away the top half of the mixture.
7. Stir the mixture.
8. Add a bit sodium silicate.
9. Push the mixture through a sieve.
10. Pour the slip onto a plaster bat to absorb the water.
11. Once the clay has dried, it can easily come away from the bat with a rubber kidney.
12. Wedging it and pay attention of the water control.
13. May add ball clay for the plasticity control.
