Hey guys!

I started my locs on October 4, 2017.

I did something a little different for my month 2 locs update! I decided to vlog the day, so you could see my mindset/questions/concerns re going to the salon that day, and also seeing the process of me getting my hair done! There’s also a cameo by my bandmates haha! Check it out! :)

Just to summarize what I’ve noticed in month 2:

Month one, I had 2 buds, month two, I have roughly 10 buds. Frizz started to activate more quickly- about 2 weeks in, I was struggling to maintain frizz & loose hairs. Budding seemed to be popping off faster (obviously it did), and my hair is continuing to grow rapidly. I noticed my locs were starting to look slightly plumper, and less ‘neat.’ No itching issues at all this month, although my hair stylist said I had a lot of build-up on my scalp. I didn’t experience any dandruff or flaking issues, which is why I was surprised to hear I had build-up. 3 weeks in, noticed the material from my yellow scarf was wrapping itself in the back row of my locs, so I had to be mindful of that moving forward. Also by 3 weeks, the frizz was raging. I kept my hair covered lol. The rest you can see in the video! Thanks!
