Last year, the UN adopted the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. This week, diplomats from all over the world are gathered in Geneva to discuss nuclear weapons. In her statement on behalf of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, campaigner Isabella Vargas reminded those present at the Preparatory Committee of the Non-Proliferation Treaty just what the commitment to a world free of nuclear weapons means. To strengthen her voice and amplify it beyond the halls of the UN, her fellow campaigners from around the world helped make another recording of the statement.
