Why Does It ALWAYS Rain In WALES? - A North Wales Fail Vlog

Why does it always rain in Wales?

If you've visited North Wales this Summer, or any other Summer really, there is a good chance that you have experienced some rain, in fact, there is a good chance that you have experience A LOT of rain!

But why does it always rain in Wales? Well of course it doesn't really, but for a lot of this year's Summer, it has felt like it.

In this North Wales 'Fail' vlog, we take a trip around North Wales but along the way get washed out, but it still didn't harm our fun, as we love North Wales in any weather, come rain or shine.

In this North Wales vlog, we had organised to meet up with a family from the US, who were on a UK tour and had based a lot of their North Wales tour itinerary from watching our North Wales travel vlogs - how amazing is that?

We'd agreed to meet up at 5pm in Beddgelert, as they had really enjoyed our Beddgelert vlog and wanted to see Gelert's Grave for themselves.

We decided to make a day of it and go on a bit of a North Wales adventure.

We started off the day by heading towards Dolwyddelan Castle, but guess what? It was a big fat FAIL. Now, we could see the castle, we just couldn't get to it, so Fail Number 1.

Next was a visit to the Llanfair Slate Cavern in Harlech. We turned up and tried to get something to eat - we got soaked and there were no tables in the cafe - FAIL!!!

We did go inside the Llanfair Slate Caverns in Harlech though and they were incredible!!

The rain was only getting harder, so with a bit of time to spare before of Beddgelert meet up, we decided to pop over to Barmouth - again, we got VERY WET - FAIL!!

Our final destination was to the beautiful Beddgelert, home of the Welsh legend of Gelert the dog. After getting soaked, we finally found our new American friends and had a brilliant time.

After we had shown them the sights of Beddgelert - in the rain, we went into a lovely bar to share stories and enjoy a drink and some food.

As always, we have a sum up at home enjoying a nice cold beer and talking about our day.

So, if you asked why does it always rain in Wales, the answer is it just does....well, sometimes anyway.
