Zahid Ahmed Reveals He Rejected Jaan Se Pyara Juni

Zahid Ahmed is a big star who is known for his versatility and determination. He came into acting after leaving a secure job as he had a passion for performing arts. He has done some really different characters on television and people love him for his talent, voice and the way he gets under the skin of every character. He is currently a part of two big dramas titled Jaan Se Pyara Juni on Hum TV and Gentleman on Green TV.


Zahid’s character in Jaan Se Pyara Juni is very simple and the show is something to look forward to with its simplicity and not the usual hoopla around everything. He is featuring with Hira Mani and Mamya Shajaffar in the show.


He shared in an interview with VOA Urdu that he actually rejected Jaan Se Pyara Juni multiple times. He loves doing complex characters like the ones in Besharam and Ishq Zah e Naseeb as more can be done there. He said doing characters like Juni is difficult as they are so close to reality without any extra alphaness inserted in. So, he rejected it several times but the director Meer Sikandar finally made him say yes to the character and he took on the challenge.
