Ubisoft's The Crew remains as the odd one out in the racing game landscape. The original game in 2014 was the last of an era. Gritty, dark, and unashamedly brash in its tone. 2018's The Crew 2 was a sequel in name, but switched up the series formula and mood dramatically.
