My struggle with hyperpigmentation
I won't say my skin is all clear, I used a ring light here hence it's clear.
A lot of people say they don't see the hyperpigmentation, but I see it - all I can attest to is that it's not as visible as before.
My skin was normal, then I started trying different products around 2015 and that was the beginning of everything, it didn't show any effect until I stopped using all of them and I moved to the US.
Because of panic I started buying every and any skincare. It made my skin so dry, then I started pigmenting. It was frustrating! It started with the side of my nose then the side of my cheeks. I wept.
One thing I know helped me was hydration.
Please hydrate your skin. Find a good hydrating serum.
The vitamin C and discoloration serum I used was from ‪@skinceuticals‬ ‪@PaulasChoiceSkincare‬
I used a retinol that was prescribed, it had more concentration that the normal retinol. ‪@UrbanSkinRx‬ ‪@theinkeylist784‬
The facial cleanser and moisturizer, I made sure they had brightening ingredients.
I will compile a list, but I am still doing my research.
