Edit: Spells Cast by Arcane Bombardment to NOT follow timing restrictions. Since there is no timing noted ("You may cast... This turn/until the next end step/etc.") that means the spells are cast on the resolution of Arcane Bombardment's ability and they ignore normal timing restrictions.

Cut-Rate Commander - Episode 80 - Featuring Saruman, the White Hand from Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth #mtg #commander #edh #mtgxlotr

Hey folks! After a LONG time on the backburner – the latest Cut-Rate Commander build brings us a deck helmed by none other than Sauron’s right hand traitorous wizard - Saruman, the White Hand.

In this build, we’ll be aiming to squeeze the maximum amount of value out of our commanders ability to tack of a free army / stats to an existing army to every non-creature spell we cast by, as one might expect, casting as many non-creature spells as possible. As such and appropriately for a spell caster such as Saruman, we’ll have a huge selection of Instants and Sorceries at our disposal, with a large number of them being Modal to provide us with maximum flexibility in any given situation and the remainder providing us with additional card selection, card advantage, and tutor effects to ensure our repertoire pf spells never runs dry. Then coupled with even more spell slinger payoffs that either build up our board with more token bodies or generate value as we cast our spells, a handful of ways to recur/recast our spells from the bin to get extra uses out of them, and even ways to further empower the army we create by amassing it further or making it evasive – we’ll be left with a build that even the Dark Lord Sauron would be impressed with.

Let me know if the comments below if you agree with my choices and/or what you would add to the deck instead. Also, let me know know who you would like to see next by voting on in the comments on the three choices of commander listed at the end of the video.
