Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin is a standalone "remix" of the original Dark Souls II release plus its DLC. It features new item and enemy placements that's more in tune with the lore and at least one new boss fight.

In this episode of Dark Souls 2 we fully explore the Shaded Ruins. We head into a cave and pick up a Poison Stone and fight a few ugly basilisks. We fail badly at killing a crystal lizard and find a chest with a Dark Scythe which sounds more awesome than it probably is. We try to have a chat with Manscorpion Tark, but we don't have the required ring to speak with him. There's another Petrified Dragon Bone in a chest here that we grab before we bash some barrels down to get to the Lion Clan Warriors including a golden one. We keep on finding Pharros' Lockstones all over the place now that we have no need for them. We kill a Royal Guard to get some Sublime Bone Dust and a Black Knight Halberd. Dropping down a hole we find the Homing Soulmass sorcery and Darkdiver Grandahl sitting in his wheelchair. We end the episode as we're about to fight Scorpioness Najka.

This is not quite a blind let's play. The Souls series is one of my all-time favorites and I have beaten the original version of Dark Souls II once. I don't know what to expect from this new version though, except for what I've glimpsed in screenshots. The DLC will be completely blind as I never got around to play those.
