Little Li of China's story

Описание к видео Little Li of China's story

Little Li is the precious 10 year old martyr from China in the early 1950s. The story of her martyrdom for the Eucharist inspired Bishop Fulton Sheen to do a holy hour of adoration before the Blessed Sacrament every day of his life. The Communist soldiers were tormenting her village when they fired rifles at the tabernacle. The officer then threw the sacred hosts on the floor. They locked the priest in a coal bunker connected to the church and told the villagers they were banned from going into the church. Little Li came early every morning into the church to adore Jesus in the Eucharist for one hour and consume with her tongue one of the hosts off the ground.. The priest was able to observe this from the bunker but he could not communicate with her. On the day of the last host Little Li came in as normal but as she did her adoration a soldier burst in the door and saw her kneeling. He shot her. She fell down but crawled her way to the last Eucharist and consumed it with her tongue. It was the last thing she did in this life.
