Trains at Broadbottom just features Three Northern Trains Class 323 EMUs, 323224, 323228 and 323231 arriving and departing the station working services from Manchester Piccadilly to Glossop via Hadfield on the former Woodhead Route. Services on this line operate a 30 minute service and is formed of 3 coaches.

Broadbottom Station was opened by the The Sheffield, Ashton-under-Lyne & Manchester Railway on 10th December 1842, sadly on my visit, a wooden shelter had been removed in March 2021
