How to REMOVE LEFT CAM COVER | Maserati Quattroporte M139

Описание к видео How to REMOVE LEFT CAM COVER | Maserati Quattroporte M139

This video shows how I remove the cam cover from the left side of the engine on my 2006 Maserati Quattroporte M139.

In order to be able to do this, I had to first remove the windscreen wiper cowl followed by the dash panel upper moulding. If you would like to see these videos, then please follow these links:

I'm doing this because I have oil leaking from the cam cover gaskets on both sides of the engine, so the cam covers need to be removed and new gaskets fitted.

Secondly, I've got an engine warning light on the dashboard. Using an ODB2 diagnostic tool, I've obtained the fault code and this suggests there could be a problem with a variator control solenoid valve or phase sensor.

My next video will show how I replace a damaged variator oil control valve on the left side of the engine.
