I wanted to see if it was possible to use the standard Shelly1 without a neutral. I know that it is possible to do so with the Shelly1L , you just require a special bypass unit. So I came up with a experimental circuit that allows the standard Shelley 1, to be used without a neutral connection, behind the light switch. My circuit hack is basically a "custom load bypass" that specifically works with the smaller Shelly1. The circuit is very inexpensive and easy to make yourself. The best thing about it, is that NO soldering iron is required. I honestly think the circuit is worth further investigation. You guys are welcome to give it a try and give me some feedback.
