Using Bone Vs. Wood for Char is by far a superior finished product. The pores within the bone will hold more nutrients and microbiology. This will now be my primary ingredient when making char. With a much more porous nature, it may also inoculate faster. It would be hard to determine that, but it is viable. It also seems as though the bone crumbles easier than wood, which will help in breaking it down into smaller pieces or crushing it into fine particulates. If you have any experience with bone vs. wood biochar, and have anything to add that I have left out, I would love your comment or opinions below.
