I moved to a new house and the stove that came with it is not really something I want to can with. I also don't really like cooking and canning inside here. It's more open concept and everything you cook tends to stick around in the house for a few days. Cooking outside seems like a fun and great option to reduce the heat, humidity, and smells from certain foods cooking. I didn't know if I could find a hot plate that would get hot enough and work for pressure canning. I bought one and tested it out
